I founded Piccadilly Creative because I believe in the brilliance of women & I want to see their voices elevated and stories told… loud & clear.
Part of the story.
When I was little I would beg my parents to tell me stories. As I grew, I would listen or read them for hours. I loved getting lost in the pages of a good book. I remember staying up late reading and re-reading my favorites. Stories of fictional characters or real-life heroes, I loved them all.
Over time though I’ve become increasingly dissatisfied with simply reading good stories, instead I want to live them. I want to take part in the adventure. I want to experience the beauty. Live expansively and experience things worthy of retelling.
Have you ever felt that way?
I think it’s more common that we think. I believe it’s because we were all meant to be part of the story. The heroine or hero in our own epic tale.
We were meant for big living. Daring deeds and great beauty. Yet, we often settle for small and safe. The comfort known versus the discomfort of something truly beyond ourselves. We tell ourselves that truly epic things are meant for others, not us.
But, what might happen if we told ourselves a different story? What if we chose the option that seems a bit less clear, but has the potential for far more beauty? What if we realized we were never designed for comfort but rather for growth?
I think there is for more beauty and adventure awaiting than we ever dared dream.
